Get Real-Time on your blog

There is now a trend (or maybe it has always been here) for bloggers to cover live events and blog about it "real-time". Problem is, it’s not easy to keep writing and have all the info updating either without editing the posts or spamming your own blog with a thousand posts about the same thing. Sometimes it gets really messy.
Now it just became a little easier with Cover It Live.
Cover it Live is a nice web application that allows for real-time updates to show on your blog post without need to refresh. It’s almost like having a Twitter widget right in the middle of your posts.
But best of all is that it is not limited to text. Cover it Live allows for text, images, video and even polls to be updated as you write. And it seems that the text is even indexable by search engines. A very nice use for Ajax.
For now the accounts are free without limitations. For the future, I’d say that is going to change, but it’s just my personal opinion.
Anyway, since I’m not planning to be attending any major events that would interest my readers in the upcoming months, I won’t be using it. But it can be useful, specially for the big blogs out there.
